This short film combines the early morning sights and sounds of the meadows at the Money Island Road, Alloway Creek Watershed Wetland Restoration Site in southern New Jersey. With video footage and audio recordings from the meadows, it invites viewers into the peaceful landscapes of the South Jersey coastal ecosystem.

The visuals accompany an original score by Jim Combs, who brought together musicians from Italy, Venezuela, North Macedonia, Argentina, and Brazil. The natural sounds, merging the calm of the wetlands with this musical backdrop, create a moment for reflection where a bird’s song aligns with a flute’s melody. With the various international musicians, we can view how our shared love of nature connects us across borders and oceans.
